So many factors affect the cost or pricing of a particular project. All of the following will have an impact on pricing.
Ease of access is always a consideration with each partition wall’s installation. The type of building can also play a part, in cases where a building is particularly old or listed there may be an additional cost in order to ensure we can make our systems sympathetic to and complement the existing structure.
Again, ease of access will affect pricing. Installing partition walls on the ground floor of a building is generally a simpler task than on higher floors, depending on size of panels, presence of goods lift etc.
Size of opening
Larger openings require more, and larger, panels. They also mean we sometimes need to incorporate additional overhead support work to ensure strength and durability across the whole width of the partition.
The method and extent of overhead support work
We can suspend our top track from concrete, steel or laminated timber beams. We carefully open and close suspended ceilings and can install acoustic baffles within ceiling voids. We can even create our own self-supporting, plywood timber beams, depending on width of opening. All these factors will affect the overall cost.
Number and configuration of partitions
Our partition wall installations can accommodate an endless array of layouts. We can create straight walls, curved walls or corner offices inset into a larger space. We can include single or double doors, inlaid / concealed panel connections and cunning alcoves for stowing the panels when not in use.
Our panels are available in a very wide array of finishes, from real wood veneer to, fully glazed, dry-wipe whiteboard or magnetic finish. We also offer different grades of sound insulation and fire resistance, depending on your requirements.
